Sociology is a scientific study of social interactions, social institutions, social patterns and social change of human society guided by sociological theories and methods. The Associate of Arts – Sociology prepares candidates to enter various fields of social work, media, education, administration and management after completing a minimum of two years of study. It provides the opportunity for candidates to pursue further study to enable careers in areas such as business management, consulting, teaching, social work, religious life, counselling administration, politics, applied research, online sociology services, integrated urban planning, career and policy transition, corporate administration, insurance and medical administration.
